It has been announced that the Winter Session of the Karnataka Legislature will be held from December 19 to 29 at the Belgaum Golden Legislative Assembly, but the session has been announced for 12 days, but in reality the proceedings will last for 9 days.
After the session began on Monday, the first session will continue till Friday i.e. December 23, followed by two days off on Saturday and Sunday.
In the second session, the session will resume from Monday, December 25 and will conclude on Thursday, December 28. Therefore, although the session has been declared for 11 days in each school, its work will continue for only 9 days. From this, it seems that the Belgaum convention is being taken as a mere formality by the government.
As the Convention was held in Belgaum earlier too, this area did not get any welfare nor the expected development. So at this time, we have to see how much time is given for discussion on the topics of Belgaum area in a period of 9 days.
