Applications are invited for appointing an ombudsperson in the following districts for redressal of complaints and redressal of grievances received in connection with the implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.

Ombudsperson Vacancy Districts: Chamarajanagar, Gadag, Mandya, Tumkur and Vijayapura.

What are the qualifications to apply for Ombudsman posts?
– Must have at least 10 years of experience in Public Administration / Law / Education / Social Service / Management.

– Experience of working with public / community organizations is a mandatory qualification.

– Applicants should not be members of any political party and prohibited association.

– Must be physically able to undertake travel in rural areas.

– Maximum age should not exceed 66 years as on the last date fixed for submission of application.

– The appointment will initially be for a period of 2 years. But if the performance is found unsatisfactory, he will be released from the post before the term.

– Remuneration, sitting fee will be given as per orders issued by Central / State Government.
