The name of the two-wheeler driver who died in the accident is Arun Kolte (age 22) and the name of the seriously injured is Vishal Maruti Mannolkar (age 26). While these two were riding their bike, they were hit by a speeding unknown vehicle near Ambewadi village last Sunday around 11:40 pm.
The impact was so strong that Arun was killed on the spot. In this accident, Vishal Mannolkar, who was sitting behind Arun on the bike, was seriously injured and has been admitted to KLE Prabhakar Kore Hospital for treatment.
His condition is said to be critical. A case has been registered in Kakati police station regarding the said accident.
