Educational qualifications for taking the exam
Indian Financial Services: Should have completed Master’s degree in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics subjects.

Indian Statistical Service:Must have passed Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Statistics / Maths Statistics / Applied Statistics.

Age Qualifications
Applicants who want to apply for UPSC IES, ISS exams should be at least 21 years of age. Maximum age should not exceed 30 years as on August 01. Central Government Age Relaxation Rules will be applicable for OBC, SC / ST / Handicapped Candidates.
