City ready to welcome PM; Roadshow road saffron

In view of the upcoming Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow, Monday. Belgaum is coming on a tour on February 27 and in accordance with that, all the necessary preparations have been made by the BJP government in the state as an alternative to the administration. The entire city along with the route of the Prime Minister’s road show has been turned saffron by hoisting the saffron flag.

Prime Minister Modi is visiting Belgaum tomorrow, Monday. Accordingly, all the necessary preparations are being made for his reception and the traffic on the route where the Prime Minister is in communication has been diverted to another place. Saffron flags with party symbols are unfurled at regular intervals along the route of the Prime Minister to welcome him. Also, the entire city along with the route of the road show has been decorated with saffron flags by hoisting saffron flags everywhere in the cities. The Prime Minister’s visit to Belgaum will begin tomorrow at 2 pm and will conclude with a public meeting at Malini Farm at Alarwad Cross. For the public meeting, the Malran farm land in Malini City has been leveled and a large canopy has been erected at that place. A helipad has also been constructed nearby.

As soon as the public meeting is over, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will fly to Sambara Airport and from there to New Delhi from the Indian Air Force helicopter ready at this helipad. Initially, the Prime Minister is likely to arrive at the Sambara Airport tomorrow Monday around 1:30 PM and from there he will be taken by helicopter to the helipad set up at the APMC grounds for the road show. At that place, according to political etiquette, the first citizens of Belgaum, Mayor, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Deputy Mayor etc. will welcome the Prime Minister. After that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s road show will start from there. This roadshow starts from APMC Ground, Azamnagar, Nehrunagar, Lakshmi Complex, Civil Hospital Road, Rani Channama Circle, College Road, Dharamveer Sambhaji Chowk, Ramling Khind Galli, Hemu Kalani Chowk, Kapileshwar Flyover, SPM Road, Chhatrapati Shivaji Park to left to Old P. B. The road will directly end at Malini City public meeting place. The entire route of the roadshow has been barricaded and the tabloidized Chitraraths will be stopped at the right places. Through these Chitraraths, the local BJP will try to show the culture of various states of the country including Karnataka.Modi

In the wake of the said road show, the security system has been tightened and a large police force has been kept along with barricading in the entire city. Carrying of handbags, water bottles and electronic devices except mobile phones is prohibited in public meeting places. There is a possibility that lakhs of Modi supporters from Belgaum district along with the city will enter the city for the roadshow and public meeting and in this regard all the precautions are being taken. As the regular schedule of the city will be disrupted due to the Prime Minister’s visit, some schools have been given a holiday, while others will be open in the morning hours like on Saturday. However, due to the Prime Minister’s visit, the entire Belgaum city is going to be crowded tomorrow, Monday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be accompanied by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, BJP State Executive C. T. Veteran leaders of Karnataka BJP along with Ravi will be present in Belgaum.
